How does AI work?

To put it briefly, artificial intelligence (AI) combines massive data sets with quick processing times and clever algorithms to enable software to automatically identify patterns or other qualities in the data. There are three major subfields of AI: machine learning, neural networks, and deep learning.

  1. Machine learning (ML): An analytical model that is built without being trained to seek in certain places or draw conclusions. It draws on techniques from neural networks, statistics, physics, and operations research to uncover hidden insights in data.
  2. Neural networks: A kind of machine learning consisting on networked elements (such as neurons) that communicate with one another and process information in response to outside inputs. To identify relationships and make sense of the undefined data, several iterations through the data are necessary. 6 | P a g e
  3. Deep learning (DL): Utilizing massive neural networks with numerous layers of processing units, this alternative form of machine learning makes use of enhanced training methods and increased processing power to uncover intricate patterns in massive volumes of data. Voice and picture recognition are two common uses.
